Lovely vintage Pear lidded bowl with four (4) serving dishes in double pear shape by Belmar Pottery Company in, Los Angeles, California circa 1940s-1950s. Great for serving berries and yogurt, hummus, chips and dip, etc. This is an enchanting vintage element to grace any table or a display spot. The lidded bowl measures 6 1/2" in diameter with a 3 1/2" diameter base. The "double pear" serving dishes measure approx. 7" x 5". The lidded bowl has a small chip on the lip which is covered by the lid. One pear dish has "faded' paint on the brown stem. Aside from that, the set has no notable defects and exemplifies the charm of a hand painted pottery look. In shades of soft yellow with green leaf and brown stem detail, the color is a very pleasing.
